All People Are Welcome

 

Everyone is invited to join us in the full range of New Church of Phoenix activities that take place here at the church and out in the community.   From there we encourage all people who have engaged in the teachings and life of the congregation to move toward membership.  While membership allows a person to have a vote on important church matters at church-wide meetings, its more important purpose is to demonstrate a personal commitment to the principles of the New Church and a life according to those principles.

Membership is open to any person over the age of 20.  People generally come to membership in one of two ways.  The first is where a person was baptized into the New Church as an infant and now would like to confirm that they have taken on the New Church teachings and values for themselves.  The second way is for those who have found the New Church as an adult.  In both cases the person is asked to speak to the Pastor directly about the path to membership in their particular case.
